My journey to train as a Civil Marriage Celebrant started when I watched the process unravel in planning my own wedding! I was inspired by the concept that marriage ceremonies could be so varied and tailored to each couple, and it led me to become passionate about ceremony script writing and telling a couples' love story in a way that suits their personalities. It is a privilege to be able to narrate a Love Story and watch the smiles on my couples' faces as we take a trip down memory lane, talk about their love, their lessons, their adventures and their hopes for the future.
I am a Wife, a Mum of two rad little boys, an advocate for healthy relationships and an avid lover all things celebrations and milestones (champagne included). I believe that all of life's rights of passage should be celebrated, and I aspire to help others to do just that, in a way that is authentically them.

Shanda was the Celebrant for our wedding ceremony in Perth in December 2022, and we could not speak any higher of Shanda and her services! Shanda made the entire ceremony planning process stress-free & fun and we clicked with her from our very first cafe meet-up. Our personalised ceremony script was perfect, and she nailed our love story.
